Ready Reckoner for the hectare coverage of adjuvants

In this section you will find a series of tables that will enable you to calculate the right amount of adjuvant for the sprayer volume and area to be sprayed, and also the number of packs required for this.

1. Adjuvant Need based upon Sprayer Volume

Define your sprayer volume.
Decide the adjuvants use rate.
Cross reference the table

e.g. for a 1500 litre sprayer using Torpedo-II at 0.1% spray volume you will need 1.5 litres of Torpedo-II.

2. Hectare Coverage of Adjuvants

Adjuvants are mainly used as a % of the spray volume.

To use the Ready Reckoner:-

Decide your spray volume per hectare and choose the appropriate Table:-

Table 1 = 100 L/ha

Table 2 = 150 L/ha

Table 3 = 200 L/ha

From the desired Adjuvant rate % and Pack size cross reference the hectare coverage e.g. Spraying at 150 l/ha (Table 2) with a 5 litre pack of Li-700 to be used at 0.5% spray volume will give a hectare coverage of 6.7 hectares.
