Wet Process
Wet process pellets are the highest quality available and use premium, food grade flours to produce a highly palatable pellet. Using water during formulation produces a pellet with excellent integrity providing resistance to wet weather and no dust.
The De Sangosse wet process allows protein and gluten molecules to chemically bind together in the bait. This gives the pellets a good elasticity, similar to that of bread dough or pasta. It means the pellets swell in humid conditions and do not crumble and withstand rain.
Furthermore, wet process pellet do not break at spreading, do not generate dust and provide an even spreading pattern due to the exceptional pellet density.

The advantages of using De Sangosse wet process pellets are:
- Slug pellets work when slugs are active
Slugs are active in wet / humid conditions
When it’s wet: wet process pellets last longer than dry process pellets
- Crops are at risks for several days at germination
Wet process pellets are more persistent and have more time to kill more slugs
A slug Pellets treatment must protect crops until crops are no longer at risk

fewer application of dearer pellets but that works (also in wet conditions)
